Short sweet and great quality. I like that I was entertained quickly without anything dragging out to the point of lessening my interest. Original concept and I always have to appreciate that. The animation quality was not something I see very often. Great work!

pointless. I cannot fathom what I'm supposed to take from this, but I strive to be fair and write more than a sentence as well as never coming off as just hateful. So I'll do my best, here goes. Way to short, and not nearly enough dialog. I'm not sure If there is some mystical quality to pancakes that I'm not getting that makes them funny just by telling someone to eat them? Lets face it, it's very difficult here to have anything positive to say so to keep from sounding just mean or cruel I will say this. I am a fan of stop motion animation, when Its done tastefully and some thought is put into it. Bottom line, maybe try making some story, giving your characters some background, maybe some personality. Something more than just two guys sitting there yelling about pancakes. Better luck next time.

This really hit home for me in a lot of ways and that did help tremendously with the empathy. Just trust me, You did capture how even the best of friends can completely miss the biggest signs of your spiraling depression at a crucial point in your life. It is very sad, but how many people will see this and not make the mistake of missing that call. There is nothing worse than that pit in your stomach when that call goes unanswered, and I know the aftermath is devastating to the one who went right back to sleep. You certainly have my vote on this one buddy. Great work on this video.

Again, Im thrilled by the experience that is your animations. Originality is something very hard to come by these days, especially with the litter of parodies that are on this site. Yet you've managed to bring us yet another instant classic in original concept art. I loved the perspective jumps in the "battle scene" and the flower drop was anti-climatic genius. Awesome work.

I have been taken on a nostalgic journey of AWESOMENESS!! Commendable is the word I have for you sir. The animation Is anything but lacking with this excellent collaboration of Zelda lore in the form of an elegant music video. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of watching your film here and If you have not made more videos then all I can say is why? Its a given, thumbs up!

I watched Dovah Bear, and absolutely fell in love with the content, the concept, the artwork, the animation, generally everything about this is just fantastic. There's something about bears that presents the unavoidable provoked thought of an unstoppable beast of epic proportions and you captured that essence perfectly with this. I greatly look forward to viewing more of your work. Awesome job, seriously.

Not bad, the concept is original and I do like the animation Its soooo much higher quality than most of the Mario based concept art I come across. I enjoyed this little short especially the Animal Crossing human cameo at the end and the axe was nice little easter egg touch. If this is the kind of work I can expect from you in the future, you can add me to your list of consistent viewers. Thumbs up!

Thank you for your review :D it means alot to me, and i hope i can live up to your expectations

This was disappointing. I'm pretty sure Link never actually spoke to anyone...like ever. The legend of Zelda Is NOT and RPG. I don't ever recall having the entire screen blacked over to show me an important item during dialog unless Link was being given the Item. And since when do shop keepers in Zelda do anything other than repeatedly ask you to buy something after shouting some random nonsensical noise that I'm positive is not a word. You should Try this with an actual RPG game and the jokes would make much more sense and wouldn't seem so out of context. On a positive note the animation wasn't absolutely terrible, but could use more fluidity. I'm sure you could make something more worthwhile with more effort on story and dialog. On a final note the buttons are useful for people who can't read impossibly fast but I noticed that some of the dialog boxes cut in mid sentence and that sort of takes away from the moment.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this and honestly only clicked the Icon because I was intrigued by the words "Baby Dragon". But then the video began and once the egg cracked I found myself oddly captivated by the simplicity of the concept/background art colliding beautifully with the animation which over all was pieced perfectly with the music. This is the kind of thing I would refer someone to when asked for an example of art in motion. Would love to see more from you especially if it is anything like what I've seen here.

Slackman responds:

Much thanks! I'll keep making them as long as you keep watching

Excellent, just a damn good laugh all around. The animation was far from unacceptable. The writing was very well thought out. The jokes really related to the game and made me think back humorously on a classic. This is definitely something I want to see more of, so a sequel would be highly anticipated and warmly welcome. Thank-you for this good sir, two thumbs way up.
