Great Idea, needs a little work, for instance I had some trouble with the movement at times like walljumping. you may want to try lessening the fall time when you take a hit, it seems if you dont time it just right, you can be hit again as soon as you are done flashing and it doesnt leave much retaliation time. otherwise this has awesome potiential and I do like the concept of rpg chess.
Great work, want more like this.
Game is infinitely entertaining, brilliant concept and just all around stimulating...but every time I make a living creature I keep trying to give it vodka just to see if I can make a drunk or an alcoholic. Loved this game and the original. Great work!
Had a blast! the only downside is that the music is so short that it almost instantly becomes repetitive to a practically maniacal level(and that is easily remedied with mute). Aside from such a minor down note(and the lack of alternate stages), this was loads of fun. The enemies not only get more challenging as you progress but they progressively scale up in numbers which adds to the challenge. a few tweaks and this is perfect.
1. MORE UPGRADES: more is always better, and who could argue with beefing up your already badass hero with more magic abilities, faster run speed, quicker attack speed, lengthier leaps, more health expansions, magic capacity, the works.
2. MORE CRAP TO BUY: we all know enemies tend to conveniently drop exactly what you need in games like these, but it's always just as rewarding when you get to the "store" and a rewarded for your efforts with more selections and higher available quantities than your last trip. It encourages to keep playing to see what cool crap we can get next time.
3.COMBOS: who doesn't love pounding your enemies to a bloody mess with a string of flashy attacks? Being able to throw in our own mixture of the attacks makes us feel original and less like we're playing the game exactly like everyone else.
4.MORE LOCATIONS: Whats better than smashing baddies around the room? Doing in other rooms. Changing the scenery every once in a while makes us feel more progressive and diminishes the potential monotony of smacking skulls against the same floor over and over again.
Other than those things, I had a lot of fun and this is absolutely something I will play again.
Two thumbs up!
Epic collision of simplicity and fun. RARELY do I come across a game that is genuinely fun yet doesn't piss me off with randomly thrown in absolute BS that the creator could not possibly have not noticed. I would love to see a sequel of this from you if your remotely interested in tweaking the finer points. The only thing I can think to point of here in terms of improvement is leveling up, its seems a little too easy to get experience. Bottom line, this game is simple, yet grandly fun and addicting as hell. Great job!
Made it to lvl 7 and just didnt have any patience left for that parking spot. lvl 5 was somehow a lot easier than lvl 4. I did find myself shouting at this game a lot. The most frustrating thing was when a car would wedge me between them and a curb or another car(or just push me straight into a biker which was just down right inconceivably infuriating). I understood the concept behind it, but was still pretty agitated with the bikers being the equivalent of touching F**KING LAVA . Aside from the critical downsides this game was actually pretty entertaining and if nothing else a huge time killer. I did like that I was given lighter more aerodynamic trucks as I progressed through the lvls, however there are 8 lvls and only three trucks?? Bottom line? This has great potential and with a few tweaks would really be a lot more fun. good game for such an odd concept.
This seems pretty well thought out, quite more complex than I thought It would be. I tend to be pretty weary in the under judgement section. But I'd say this should pass. A good RTS is incredibly time consuming but has its benefits that make it worth the time if you have it.
P.S. named my tribe the wabbajack tribe. WOO Wabbajacks!
